LGI is a Lakeland-based independent insurance agency that has met the needs of drivers and homeowners throughout the state of Florida for over 40 years.
We specialize in personal lines insurance and currently provide coverage for automobiles, homes (including landlords and tenants), boats, motorcycles and recreational vehicles through several leading, A+ rated companies.
Though the LGI staff is small, we take great pride in being friendly and efficient and we make it our every day goal to make your insurance policy something you can put faith in. We do our best to help our customers understand their coverage while ensuring that they have the protection they need at the best price possible.

Joanna Graff - Agent/Manager
Graduating with a bachelor’s degree from The University of South Florida, Joanna joined LGI in 2012. Initially being hired as a receptionist, Joanna’s hard work and tenacity allowed her to move up within and she now serves as a licensed agent and LGI’S office manager. Joanna is as accomplished as she is determined and brings her passion and expertise to our clients every day.
April Willis - Agent
With over 20 years of experience in administrative roles, April is the adept professional you want working with you. She is a graduate of the Bartow Chamber Leadership Program - class of XIV. Looking for new and exciting opportunities, and a role that would allow her to make a difference, April joined the LGI family in 2014 as a Certified Professional Service Representative, and obtained her agent license in 2022.
In loving memory of Larry Greenwald
It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Larry Greenwald in 2020. It has been a great honor working for him over the years and he will be deeply missed.
Prior to the establishment of LGI, Larry spent 11 years working as a supervisor for State Farm. During that time, he also earned his bachelor's degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Management from the University of South Florida. He founded Larry Greenwald Insurance in 1980.
We will continue to provide the same level of service in memory of Larry to continue the business he built.
